Makes LPs permanently antistatic with the alcohol-free Disco-Antistat Mixture, a special liquid that automatically removes dust, dirt particles and dried liquids, leaving no residue and deep into the grooves.
The care set consists of:
- Wash housing with inserted brushes made of goat hair
- Label protector with suspension axle for LPs, singles and 10 inch - adapter included
- 1 liter of cleaning fluid DISCO-ANTISTAT Mixture with a new alcohol-free recipe
- Funnel including filter grid and filter fleece (5 pieces), with which the liquid is filtered back into the bottle after use
- Drip rack (drying rack) with drip tray for up to 15 LPs or singles (slides into the case after use)

What is the difference between dry and wet record cleaning?
A dry brush removes loose surface dust before playback. Wet cleaning uses a suitable fluid and brushes or a record washer to reach contamination in the grooves. Used, visibly dirty or noisy records usually need more than a quick dry pass.
How often should records be cleaned?
Use a clean dry brush as needed before playing and wet-clean records when dirt, fingerprints or persistent noise are present. A newly acquired used LP is a sensible candidate for a thorough clean before it enters the main vinyl storage.
How should Knosti cleaning fluid be used?
Follow the instructions for the specific Knosti washer and fluid. Do not exceed the fill mark or immerse the label protector. After washing, allow excess liquid to drain before opening the protector and placing the record in the drying rack.

Can household soap or general-purpose cleaner be used on vinyl?
No. Household detergents can leave residue and may damage the record or cleaning machine. Use a fluid formulated for records and do not mix products unless the manufacturer provides a dilution method.
How should a stylus be cleaned?
Use a suitable stylus brush or cleaner and follow the cartridge maker’s directions. With a brush, move from the rear of the cartridge toward the front; side-to-side brushing can damage the cantilever.
What should I do after wet-cleaning a record?
Let the LP dry completely in a clean rack before playing or storing it. Replace a dirty paper inner sleeve with a clean antistatic or poly-lined sleeve so loosened dust is not transferred straight back to the record.
Do antistatic cleaning products stop all static?
They can reduce static charge and dust attraction, but results also depend on room humidity, sleeve material and handling. Hold records by the edge and label, and keep the record shelf and turntable area clean.
How should record-cleaning tools be stored?
Rinse or clean the washer parts according to the manufacturer’s instructions and let brushes and trays dry fully before storage. Close fluid bottles securely and keep cleaning products away from children, pets, heat and direct sunlight.
