To create the cutting plan, we only need a few details:
- The desired width, in multiples of 37.5 cm
- The preferred number of grab bins for vinyl record
- The required internal height for the amplifier space
- The desired depth
Based on those measurements, we prepare a clear overview of all board sizes so you can have the material cut and then build and paint the furniture themselves.

The metal frame for the base is not included and will need to be made separately by a metalworker. We may be able to assist with that as well.

Is this product suitable for someone with no woodworking experience?
The plan provides panel sizes, but the customer remains responsible for construction, alignment, finishing and safe assembly. Basic woodworking knowledge, appropriate tools or help from a carpenter are advisable.
Are wood, screws and other construction materials included?
No. The customer orders the wood or sheet material from a local sawmill or supplier and sources the required fixings and finish separately. Material selection should account for structural strength and the expected load of records and audio equipment.
Is the metal base frame included?
No. The metal frame shown for the base must be made separately by a metalworker. AllVinyl may be able to assist with this, but availability, measurements and cost should be confirmed before the build starts.
How should LP capacity be planned in a DIY vinyl cabinet?
Capacity depends on the number and width of the record bins. Allow enough internal height for 12-inch sleeves, store records upright and leave some free space so the collection remains easy to browse.
Can I change the dimensions after the cutting plan has been prepared?
Because the plan is made from the measurements supplied, changes made afterwards can affect every panel size. Review all dimensions carefully before approval and contact AllVinyl before production if any measurement is uncertain.
