Vintage charm meets contemporary craftsmanship

Great furniture does more than serve a practical purpose. It creates atmosphere, reflects personal style and becomes part of the story of a home.

This philosophy is at the heart of Løkie Furniture, a Rotterdam-based furniture maker specialising in restored vintage pieces and handcrafted Mid Century-inspired designs.

Drawing inspiration from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, Løkie Furniture celebrates an era defined by beautiful materials, elegant proportions and functional design. Its distinctive collection brings together retro aesthetics, warm wood finishes and timeless simplicity.

From vintage restoration to handcrafted retro furniture

The story of Løkie Furniture began in 2020 in a small garage in Rotterdam. What started as a passion for restoring used furniture gradually developed into a business dedicated to preserving vintage design and creating new furniture inspired by Mid Century Modern aesthetics.

Original vintage pieces are carefully restored, while new furniture is handcrafted with attention to materials, construction and finishing.

This combination of restoration and contemporary furniture making gives Løkie Furniture its distinctive identity: authentic vintage character combined with modern craftsmanship.

A retro record player cabinet for vinyl lovers

For anyone who loves vinyl records, a record player cabinet is much more than a practical piece of furniture. It provides a dedicated space for listening to music and displaying a cherished record collection.

A vintage record player stand or retro vinyl storage cabinet beautifully complements both classic turntables and contemporary audio equipment.

The Torfinn record player cabinet by Løkie Furniture perfectly illustrates this approach. Handcrafted in Rotterdam, its Mid Century-inspired design features elegant tapered legs, warm hardwood and carefully organised compartments for vinyl records.

The result is a distinctive piece of record player furniture that combines practical storage with timeless retro styling.

Mid Century Modern meets Scandinavian simplicity

Løkie Furniture draws heavily on Mid Century Modern design, a style that remains popular among furniture collectors, interior designers and vinyl enthusiasts.

Its defining features include clean silhouettes, natural materials, understated details and a strong relationship between form and function.

These characteristics also complement Scandinavian and Japandi interiors, where simplicity, warmth and natural textures play an important role.

A retro record player cabinet therefore fits beautifully into both vintage-inspired rooms and contemporary living spaces.

Quality, restoration and attention to detail

Craftsmanship is central to everything Løkie Furniture creates.

Original vintage furniture is carefully inspected, cleaned and restored where necessary. Wooden surfaces receive appropriate treatment to preserve their natural appearance and character.

The handcrafted furniture collection follows the same philosophy of careful construction and attention to detail.

By giving existing furniture a second life and creating distinctive new pieces, Løkie Furniture combines respect for design history with a contemporary approach to furniture making.
